Assisted Living Suites
Who needs it?
The Assisted Living unit is designed for the elderly person who
values their independence but who needs a helping hand with the
little things in life. The suites are attached to a Health Care
Facility and offer a 24 hour nursing call service, giving you the
peace of mind knowing help is only a call away.
What does a unit consist of?
The suites were sold under Sectional title and are equipped with
their own kitchenettes (only microwave allowed) and all have their
own private bathrooms facilities.
What does the Service Levy includes?
The monthly levy is structured according to the Resident’s
requirements and includes a mid-day meal, servicing of rooms, 15
laundry pieces as well as the administration of medicines and daily
visits by
nursing personnel.
Which level of care do you require?
Professionally trained and qualified personnel will conduct an
evaluation prior to admission to establish and provide the correct
level of care. It is their aim to ensure that you do not forfeit
any of your
dignity and independence whilst you are under their care.
Low Care (approx R2250pm):
- A three course lunch, 7 days a week served in the restaurant
- 15 pieces of laundry per week (do not include dry cleaning)
- Servicing of units once a week on specified days
- 24 hour nurse call system
- Daily administration of medicines (including injections) but
excluding consumables. General health monitoring in
- conjunction with the resident’s doctor
- Extra meals if required will be served for the occupants account
Mid Care (approx R3300 pm):
- All the above services are included as well as:
- Daily bathing and dressing assistance
- Daily making of beds
- Three meals per day, 7 days per week, with lunch served in
the restaurant
High Care (approx R4400 pm):
- All the above services are included as well as:
- Cleaning of units more often
- More laundry
- More input of Nursing Sister
Please note: None of the above replace Frail Care. Residents must
be able to mobilise to bed and bathroom without any assistance.
